Sustainability is at the forefront of the UAE’s national agenda. With 2023 deemed the Year of Sustainability, The Outlet Village is proud to do its part in protecting the environment by transforming a section of our parking into solar carports. This new initiative will provide a renewable energy source and shade to vehicles parked below.
The solar project will create approximately 1,587 MWh of energy annually, offsetting 635 tons of CO2 emissions. This is equivalent to powering 3,000+ homes for a year and taking 3,600+ cars off the roads.*
A section of the parking will be closed to safely and efficiently instal the solar carports. We will continue providing visitors with dedicated parking spaces and valet parking to ensure a seamless customer experience.
